Plants vs. Zombies on Lucid (fix?)

Wife had a problem getting plants vs zombies on her lucid, since there is a free version already installed. Neither the in game full version link, nor the Amazon market version will work...she already purchased the game on a previous phone.

I think the best route I can think of is rooting the lucid, using some program to delete the app (does tibu do that?), and then checking if Amazon market recognizes the app is gone.

Anyone have better ideas?
