Placing widgets closer together

Question:
I know of that one App(that runs as a widget) to allow for more app icons on a home screen, but is there an App that will do that for widgets?!!?

I want to throw up more fox sports and sports widgets on one side page so I don't have random widgets everywhere.

No, you can't compress widgets. Fortunately, as of 2.1 you'll have 2 more home screens so you can dedicate one of the new ones to just sports widgets if you like.

Sweeterhome can do it.

I think sweeterhome uses a 16x16 grid for placing objects on the screen. All other home apps use a 4x4 grid.

Sweeterhome even allows you to overlap widgets or place one on top of another. It can also resize some widgets.
