Can't find any of my portraits to upload.... so, I provided the link instead.

Speaking of servicemen.. My oldest son is in the Army, he finished training and is waiting to be assigned a unit, he's in artillery, so there is a chance, that he could wind up being deployed..... I found one of him and I. We went to see his graduation down in Ft. Sill, OK.

I used to be a 13M artilleryman from 2001-2004. What is your son's MOS?

Tim, you must be very proud of your son, as well as I am. I was with an artillery battery from 1981-1987. Of course, as a reservist we had the leftover 105 howitzers, which they finally replaced in 1988, a year after I got out.

Yes, I am very proud of him. I was so thrilled to see him graduate. I am a military historian, so being on a post like Ft. Sill was a little bit of heaven to me.
