Hi I'm new here so not sure if im putting this in the right thread, but... I have a Droid X android ver. 2.2 I transferred pics and videos from my BB storm plus i have taken new ones, but i can not figure out how to make folders so i can sort and organize them, can anyone help? Thanks DWdancedroid

You can use your file viewer to create folders on the root of your sd card and then drop your pictures in them. After a reboot they will show up in the gallery under the folders section with the name of the folder they were dropped in.

Thanks that works! do you know if there's a way to hide folders or move pics from the camera roll that you wouldn't want everyone to see lol

Do the same process but start the folders name with a period example ".secretpics" and drag any photos you don't want shown in the gallery in to that folder. After a reboot they will be hidden from view but still on the sd.

OK will give that a try, will it remove them from (camera roll)? and then how would i find them? and will it also work for video clips?........sorry for the questions, I really like the droid X but its way different from my Storm!

You'll be physically dragging them out of the folder they originally appeared in so no they wont show up there. Yes I think it works with videos too. When you need to find them you just go back to your file viewer.
