Currently have a droid RAZR .. due for upgrade now.. trouble deciding what phone to get now... thinking of the galaxy note... RAZR kinda lagging now.. girlfriend's RAZR having problems with it restarting on its own.. a little advice on which phones would help..

Get the one you like, not the one other people want you to have. Go into a store play with them, try them out and the one you like the best, buy it! I have the S4 and am pretty happy with it. Great phone, no problems. Does what I need and want from a phone.

Nobody is pressuring me into a phone but what does Motorola have coming out soon that I should wait for? Does galaxy have any issues I don't know about? I've only owned Motorola.. after 18 months I started having issues till I got my new every 2 deal done.. does galaxy have that issue? I don't mind getting a new phone every 2 years but the problems I get when the contract is close to being renewed is getting to be a problem

All phones are gonna have "issues"...bugs, glitches, etc. As far as whats coming from Moto, I don't see anything in the near future. Haven't read or heard about big news. Think they are sticking with the X as the major player. If anything, there may another issue of the Droid line, but who knows. Samsung's are great phones. If you want a good phone pick up the Note 3. I wish I woulda waited another month before I got my S4. Nothing wrong with mine, I just like bigger screens. You can wait until the S5 hits Verizon in a few months... give or take a month. If you are into waiting, hang on and check out the HTC M8, or LG G3. Those don't look too bad. If I needed a phone now, I'd go with the Note 3 or the G2. I am not even mentioning any fruity companies...they don't count...they are music players.

I wouldn't even use them for that. I will only use a player that works in MSC mode. My kids and their apple crap get very frustrated with itunes and having to sync everything. Do one thing wrong and it doesn't resync your apps. The logic of that escapes me. If I want to add 1 song...I'm going to add 1 song. Not add it to a playlist and have to resync everything. Argghhhh

To the OP: Definitely get what you want. My upgrade was available last January and at first was waiting for "game changer" Moto X but ended up being disappointed in June when the real specs came out (non-removable battery and no sd). Ended up waiting until October for the Note 3. The waiting did suck because my Droid X2 was limping along in January, let alone what it was like in October.
