I have a lot of problems transferring files from internal memory to the sd card. Id say about 25% of the time the phone reboots at some point through the transfer. It does this with a 3rd party app i tried as well. Also if i select move instead of copy...about half of the time the file will still be at the original location along with the new location as if i had just copied it instead of moving it. This is all very annoying.

Newbie to the whole Droid world here.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but have you tried a different card, or tried reformatting the card you are trying to transfer to?

Just a thought.

Glad to help.

I have had brand new SD cards turn out to have bad sectors.

I check them with a disk utility like Scan Disk, especially if they start acting like what you are describing.
