Phone not turning on.. another FRG22 bug?

So, I literally just got my Droid (1) replacement today. My old one was running FRG01B and when I went to root this one, I saw the newer version. So, what teh shat, why not. After rooting it, I found my phone takes a particular liking to Chevy's 1.25 ulow, so I've been running that reliably all day today. My battery finally died and when I went to revive it with a fresh wall charge.. nothing. No recov, no bootscreen, nothing. I've done every combination possible to revive it. It's been like this for about twenty minutes now. I've skimmed through the first page of this forum and it seems that this is a bug in this OS? I know this never happened on FRG01B with me. Hmm...

Anyways, any suggestions on what to do before I pull out my Tour again?

:welcome: to the forum drburke. I think you probably need to charge it up for a few hours then try again. Good luck! :D

Thanks!
Yeah, that did the trick. I don't know what was up with it, but it came back on. Later that night, I found out that the phone likes to discharge itself. I let the phone charge all the way (100% in the settings) and it shuts the USB port off. So when it hits full, it disconnects itself and discharges. So even when I "let it charge for a few hours", I'd come back to it with a lesser charge than before.

Oh well. I took it back to Verizon, said screw it, and got a Droid 2. Works much better in my opinion, and I'm much happier with it (I was coming from a Blackberry Tour). Thanks though!
