Phone getting hot...

My phone is getting hot (about 47 deg). My setcpu profile kicked in so all is good. I have been playing a lot of games the past 2hrs on my phone...quake, bonsai blast, birds. Is my phone hot because of the games I have been running, my rom, or my kernel slayer 1.1mhz. And what is too hot for the droid to run?

Yes, When you overclock the processor and then make it work, it will generate heat. So the answer is yes, all of the above.

Different people have different thoughts on temps -- I personally dont want to see anything above 50C, and at 55C, I'll actively try and cool the phone.

Good to know. I will try to keep it below 50. Is 1.1 too high to overclock? I dropped my max down to 900mhz. Maybe I'll keep it there, doesn't seem much slower than 1.1

Just like temps, OC speed is subjective. My D1 did 1.2 with no problem -- you have to find the right balance for yourself.

My D1, at 1.0, gets hot when I use it for too long -- that doesnt mean I'm hurting it, it's just the nature of the beast.

Sounds good. I'll do some trial and error. Thanks for the info man.
