Phone doesn't recognize Battery after SBF

First off, I attempted to flash back to stock Monday night and got stuck with a

"Low Battery
Cannot Program"

error, and I could not get out of bootloader. So I used the "USB Cable Hack" and tricked my DX into thinking my computer and USB cable was my battery. I finally flashed my phone successfully using TBH's 2.3.340 SBF. I got my phone to start. Now, I get a battery icon with a question mark in it, and whenever i unplug the charger, i get:

Invalid Battery
--------

Your device battery is invalid and cannot be charged.

Replace the battery with an original Motorola battery.

I went to the Verizon store last night and bought a new battery, despite having the SAME problem with the new one. It has to be my phone. Can someone PLEASE help get my phone to recognize my batt. I am unsure of the warranty status because i actually bought the phone from eBay and got the phone last Friday. Please help! I miss my DX :(

Yeah, try the SBF again, but if contacts on the USB cable and the phone accidentally got crossed you could have fired the phone.

This happens with the cable hack. Chances are you need a new battery. You can try the SBF again but be prepared to pick up another battery.
