P3 Testing GB Update

I would imagine that what he is saying is that you can SBF back from the GB update in general but it will not effect the changes made to the bootstrap. However, if you have installed the update that has been floating around then I would suggest waiting on his release and follow the directions he gives. I did notice he said something about having the su file in bin before installing the update.

So will his update be OK to run on top of the update floating around or will a sbf back to Froyo be necessary?

He did say root and bootstrap are required, so yes you would need to sbf back

I SBFed last night from 2.3 down to Froyo. I rooted using gingerbreak and installed the bootstrap. After that, I installed root explorer and examined system/bin...

'su' in in bin. I didn't do anything special. So if you did the above steps (which I'm guessing most did) check in your bin and I promise you'll see it.
