Last night I fell asleep with my phone tethered to my computer. I was watching a TV show and fell asleep... I don't have my phone rooted, I was using EasyTether. When I woke up, my phone was off, I pressed the power button and the Motorola M came on then nothing else happened, so I pressed it again... nothing again. Then I took the battery out thinking maybe it had frozen and stalled somewhere in startup and tried again... nothing happened. I figure it overheated. Is there anything I can do before going to Verizon and asking them for another.

Install battery open keyboard, hold down "X" button then hold the power button down till u get the M. Wait a few sec's, release power button, then when the little droid pops up with an exclamation point, release the "x". With the droid guy on the screen push the magnifying glass volume up and down all together to get the android recovery screen. Then click reboot
