Overclocking after the 2.2 install?

I know it's not the safest thing on earth, but has it been attempted? Any success? About to attempt. Someone out there tell me they did it without problems, or tell me I'm an idiot and to leave it as is. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Not to sound like a complete moron, I work for the company that sells the product, but of course we can't really discuss these topics due to warranty violation.

is it not fast enough as it is? theres a thread on it around here somewhere but it was only to like 1.15 or so..

well it seems when i put on 2.2 it got slower, seems laggy.

Another thing why would my sound when i tap the screen or typing text in sound muffled and like its in the back of the phone instead of on the speakerphone part like it used to.

Anyone else notice this change with 2.2?

And is the official 2.2 release will the beta ppl get that official update??

Vinny, I had to SBF it once because I didnt move the su file to keep root. after I redid everything, it was as smooth as can be. Then I had the market issue. Wouldnt find all apps. Found the forum that fixed that. Now I'm just wondering if it's safe to test out the overclock, even though its a small one, curiousity wants me to try it. Since this was an official leak and not a rom (to my understanding, unless I'm wrong) we should receive all OTA's.

try deleting anything messageing.apk then go here and re download it to sd then from root explorer move from sd to system/app then reboot if that doesn't work then the only thng i know to do is take it back to 2.1 stock after u do that when u upgrade back dont delete anything just change to .bak in root explorer
