So they have a T-bolt on Amazon.com for 199.99.

What is their warranty policy? Like if they sent me a defective phone. Would I need to send it back to amazon. Or can I take it to a local verizon store and walk out with a new TB?

Also, does anyone know how or if ill be charged tax? Im on a pretty tight budget.

Thanks in Advance.

Verizon is responsible for honoring the warranty. You can take it in to them and they'll process your return (but the new one will come via mail per new policies).

I ordered mine through Amazon and had an interesting thing happen. I couldn't use the automated process to activate my phone so I called the Amazon help. That person in turn had to go to Verizon help. To make a long story short, between the Amazon guy and the Verizon guy they analyzed my bill and usage and actually got me into a lower package that gives me basically what I had before at a lower price. So going from my feature phone to the smart phone including the new data package my bill is now actually lower. I couldn't believe it.

I believe you have to sign a two year contract in order to get the subsidized price. They'll probably charge you tax too.

They didn't have any 1 year plans on their site. All their phones will listed based on a 2 year contract. I looked for one year lol

We've bought from Amazon. They offer the same warranty as Verizon, you may want to check and see what the policy is now on exchanging a phone. It's probably just 14 days now as well but maybe they are still at 30.

There is no tax with amazon, what you see is what you pay there are no gimmicks or anything. I was afraid to order from them because I thought I was gonna run into some issue but everything went smooth the only difference between these guys and verizon is your not just signing a two year contract (people please read the terms on the site) along with your two year contract you are also signing a agreement for the first 6 months of your contract you will not disconnect that line or be disconnected for any reason or the rebate will be pulled and you will be charged full retail price of the phone. So if your someone that is late all the time amazon IS NOT FOR YOU, if your always on time no matter what its perfect!

Also warranty is all through verizon there is no difference there, like all other phones purchased from verizon you have 30days from your purchase date to sign up for insurance. So if your phone was to screw up for some odd reason yes you could walk into a verizon store and they will take care of you no problems.
