OMG...we don't need an update?

Maybe the battery issue and some other issues are if you have two instances of widgets running (one on the home app and one on the home replacement app). You are essentially doubling all battery drain from widgets if that is the case, not to mention that is a big no-no in terms of stability.

I have 3 different home setups, one GDE, one Launcher, one Home. each had its own widgets/settings. I just de-installed everything.

never even thought that could be the cause. I'll observe to see if anything changes.

I would look to VZW for help with your Droid....Those Issues are Not Normal!

Forums like this is your support. I can guarantee you will get more help and more people who know what they are talking about, instead of faking it to not seem like they do not know what is going on. Ask away; somebody here will have an answer for you.

Dude, you've been complaining about stuff going wrong with your droid for the last two weeks. You've talked about your friend's Nexus and seem to covet it. You complained that 2.1 is not out yet etc.

A) If you're having all these problems and you still have not had it exchanged, well, then that's just stupid.

B) If you really think the Nexus is so great because it has 2.1 then get that instead of the Droid. I'm sure that phone will be perfect and problem free...lol
