Old calendar events notification keeps coming up.

I searched for this and cannot find anyone having this issue.

I 'had' a calendar event, from when I don't remember, that keeps coming up everyday.

I went thru all the events for this past year, and cannot find one instance of it.

It was a doctors appointment that I haven't seen that doctor for months.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to stop this?
