Upgraded to a Nexus and have CoPilot Live for a standalone GPS. Been using the last Froyo Bugless Beast rom on it for the last year. Looking for suggestions on just a bare minimum rom that has good performance and not a lot of fancy pants graphics to hog resources.
I've always liked the Bugless Beast ROMs. He's got a Gingerbread one for the Droid, why don't you give that one a try? Either that or CM7 would be my suggestion.
Oh, gotcha. Sometimes it runs well on the OG, sometimes it doesn't. They were beautiful on mine. You might have to try a new kernel or something to be satisfied with it.
I never really played around with Froyo ROMs, so if it were me, I'd just stick with Bugless Beast Froyo. His ROMs are usually pretty much stock, but with just enough settings tweaks that they perform well. Is there something about that ROM you're not liking?
