First time in my Life a decision was made for me. Wow!
No, they're painted on, so they're white and visible all the time, though they are also back-lit when active for brighter day and nighttime use.

Honestly and I can't believe this is good news (to me) these phones are all starting to sound/look the same to me. Made picking the Turbo that much easier.
Motorola/ Little cool looking/Good Bomb-Proof Feel/ Great stats/ Felt good in my hand/ Accessories were available in a timely manner/ Choice of "which one" - Obvious.
Boom. Done.

I didn't post it as "good news" but instead to take the heat off the Motorola haters because this WASN'T a Motorola decision - obviously. This was a mandate from Verizon and they missed the deadline for the introduction of these phones. They must have wanted to announce the roll-out of the VoLTE feature on these phones and have them ready to do simultaneous voice and data at time of releaase. So, I'm not feeling so bad about the Turbo and like everyone is standing in a circle pointing at me any longer! 
I wouldn't bet any money that the Nexus 6 will do simultaneous voice and data at release either... I am going to hedge and say that since it's the same hardware as the Turbo, it will have the same shortcoming.

I think the confusion comes when you see it stated like it is here in Garemlin's post. The word "only" should really be at the beginning of the sentence instead of the end. As in: "All models available in 32GB, but only the ballistic nylon is also available in 64GB". (BTW, I have the 32GB ballistic )

Right, but that's not the only place I've seen it worded in a way that led me to believe it was ONLY 64GB in Ballistic Nylon, rather than as we now know, ALL models in 32GB and ONLY Ballistic Nylon in 64GB too.
Sorry Fox, I meant it as what followed. I can't believe I view the evolving "sameness" as good news but I do. The days of leaps and bounds aren't here and now. Every phone is a tweak a nit and lice from 5 other top contenders. Really no huge decisions to be made just shades of ones favorite gray.

LOL, and combine that with my Asperger's (reads everything very literally, no gray, only black and white) and we're in for a long and bumpy ride!
