Nuts I missed the soak text

Bummer. I wasn't included this time.

Got to make sure someone captures the file for us.

They must have been in a hurry to push the soak they sent the request at 6:38 PM. and I found it this morning and it was closed. Hope 5.1 is fixed and the test goes quick.

Is this soak test something you have to sign up for or get randomly selected for? Would I be close in assuming this is kind of like beta testing an OS?

"Both" is the best answer. However to be able to ask and answer question as well as report problems to a team you must sign up for it. 2. On past test there was a lot of updates that went to people who had not signed up. Not sure why??

Thanks for the reply - sound similar to the Windows Insider program I am involved in testing Windows 10 builds.

So based on History, 5.1 would be coming to a Turbo nearby in the not so distant future? Assuming the test goes reasonably well?

If that is the case, then 1 must decide if 1 wants 5.1 when it becomes available.

So VoLTE was activated on Big Red's systems for the Turbo yesterday?

Based on my prior experiences with "Updates" of this nature - I'll be Declining mine.

I am apart of the Motorola testing group but did not receive this either.

It's tough to say if this test would be 5.0 or 5.1..if it's even for lollipop.. It might just be the add on for volte

It seems like the last couple of Moto/Verizon soak tests were extremely short in duration. Like a matter of days, not weeks, between soak and full blown OTA rollout. (Moto X 2013 for Kit Kat and 2014 for Lollipop come to mind). Let's see what happens after the actual soak goes out!

Latest news "unofficially" is that it's the VOLTE update which will enable simultaneous voice/data.
