New D2G soak test

hey everyone, i just got wind that motorola will be performing a new soak test, apparently people are starting to get emails about it, has anyone got one?

apparently the email says that the soak test that was supposed to happen 9 weeks ago failed and moto is preparing for another soak test.

Sounds good. Tell us what how the update is, though I'm betting it's probably 4.5.606 that's already leaked. Don't forget to root it!

I got the email for droid 2 global soak test but I have upgraded to droid 3 a few weeks ago

Just checked email now as well, also received it. Most likely, it will be 4.5.606. If it isn't...Well, it'll still get rooted D3 style.

Oh, and I'll be frank. The page at the end that supposedly redirects you...Firefox gave me a security warning about it. :laugh:

yeah, the d3 method should work on any moto gingerbread build, i dont think they can patch it, well see if the soak test brings a newer build, im hoping so

Is the D3 running 2.3.4? Thought some VZ phone was. The leak comes up as 2.3.3 but I don't know if that is reliable!

Droid 3 is 2.3.4. Soak will most likely be 2.3.3, probably the same leak we just got.

You guys should also grab the update .zip if it's not .606. Or so I think.
