Notification Sounds Repeat Themselves For Each Notification

This question is NOT about Notification Reminders. This is about specific notification sounds.
On my old S7, had a calendar notification sound that went "ding ding". I have a new A14 with the same sound. However, when I get an actual calendar notification, the sound keeps playing ("ding ding, ding ding, ding ding, etc.) instead of just playing once ("ding ding"). Is this a changeable setting or is it expected behavior? If it's changeable, how do I change it?

I know Samsung has additional sound notifications settings but unfortunately I don't have one currently to check ..
