Notification sound on shut down

Does anyone recall whether or not a notification sound was heard just before the droid shuts down. I updated to 2.1 and noticed that I hear a notification sound and see a brief notification that the sd card was unmounted right before the unit turns off. I don't remember if it did the same thing with 2.0.1. I was just curious.

Its specific to 2.1

It was not present in 2.0.1 and below.

isnt it just the SD card being disconnected? It happens on startup and shutdown... I dono, I have that SD Card turned off so I dont hear it now.

Still on 2.0.1. No sound at shutdown and no notification (not even a brief one) about the SD card. Hope that helps!
