Not recieving MMS from friend

But i do get all of the text messages. sent myself an MMS from my email and phone itself and both worked. I used to get this persons MMS hours later but now they never seem to show up.

They are on ATT and they say theyre sent from that side. Im using handcent but since i sent myself them and it worked, that shouldnt be the problem do you think?

Both my GF and I use Handcent and I rarely get MMS txts from her on the first try. Usually she asks if I received it When I don't reply and then has to forward the msg. I always get the forward, but rarely the first. I have been assuming it's a Handcent bug, but I haven't tried any other txt apps to see if that's the case.
P.S. We are both on VZW

ill have to mess around with the native app and then chomp app since that one is another i use. i know before it usually took awhile to recieve them but now lately, i havent been getting them at all.

yep still stock. havent rooted yet. im going to ask them to send me a mms now with handcent gone, then another probably tomorrow with chomp gone too, to see if that makes a difference. maybe then ill figure out my problem

idk what it was but i took off handcent and chomp, and restarted phone. then had them send me a text, and it worked fine. so it must be those apps, which is a shame because they are awesome. guess ill stick with native for now

-dial *228 option 1
-power off the phone, and pull the battery for about 2 mins
-turn it back on and it should be good

i'm running cyanogen, and i had to do this with all the other roms that i've had

yeah seems its a lot between these two carriers. i was googling some things and on an att forum, they said they werent getting mms from verizon. wish there was an easy fix. i havent tried the above posters idea.

i just get people who have att to email the pic if its that important

i mean if they send mms they prolly have a data plan so its just as easy

i use the stock messaging app,m buit handcent is installed. the rom i have won't let me get rid of it for some reason..

alright thanks. any idea why this works? cause i know the option one is the activating thing. i was curious about that
