MMS help

(I originally posted in the General Forum but got not replies)



I'm having problems receiving MMS audio files. I had a friend send me a mp3 ringtone via text messaging from her Blackberry. I received the text but no file with it. I then had her forward the same text to my work phone which is also a Verizon phone. That phone is a cheapo LG. Bottom of the barrel cheapo! However it received and played the file just fine.

I have Handcent and Save MMS installed on the phone, but I'm still unable to even hear the file much less save it. I am, however, able to send her mp3's from my Droid to her Blackerry.

I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere on the forum, but the search feature is not returning any results for me when I search for MMS.

Try viewing it through the regular messenger instead Of handcent..

Im having the same issue w/ handcent and mms, cant go into the regular messenger because handcent automatically starts up when i click the stock messenger app.

Duh!!!! LOL I'm not sure I tried the stock app! Can't believe I didn't try that.. I'll give that a shot and report back.
