Not getting Facebook inbox/friend requests?

So I havent been getting the inbox msgs or friend request msgs in my notification bar like I use too...anyone know how to fix this?

log onto facebook from your PC and go to account settings / notifications.. then at the bottom of the notification list there will be a button that says see more or something like that.. click it and go down the list and check the facebook for android.. that should get it to work.. only solution ive found and now im getting my notifications
