I star'ed the issue as well. Been having these problems off-and-on since I got the phone. Since 2.0.1 update, I've had no success displaying the weather at all when it's docked. Before 2.0.1 it worked intermittently.

EDIT: LOL, it's like my Droid heard me complaining here... For the past two nights, the weather while on the Dock has worked perfectly. I didn't do anything to change it -- it just seems to have started working again...

The question is, whether this is an Android 2.0 application or a Motorola (or Verizon) application. If it belongs to Moto, then staring this thread won't help (but I guess it can't hurt).
