No Google Play Store?

Hello! I recently purchased a new phone with the model number G700-T00. When I googled this, it claimed to be a Huawei. The phone claims it's a Jiake, though. Maybe they're the same thing?

Anyway.

The phone is factory unlocked, and Google says it's on the supported devices list. I don't understand why Google Play Store wouldn't be on the device.

Maybe it was rooted and screwed around with? I called into customer service, but the guy told me to either restore it or email the company.

Welcome to the forum

I'm guessing that you set up a Google account in the phone and also that when you use that account to log into the Google Play Store that it displays your phone. If so, how do you know for certain the Google app isn't there? In other words, where have you looked?

The phone has Google Play services, but not the actual app market. I have email, but google play services is the only thing Google on this phone.

I say go into google play services and clear data and force stop it.. Reboot...and see what happens..

MAXXED OUT!!!!!

Go to Settings & look at "About Phone", tell us what version of Android it is. If you don't have the Play Store, there's ways to side load it. Assuming your phone supports that

I never saw an answer to my question. If you go to the Store using a browser, using the same account as your phone, do you see your phone listed. You may need to select an app?

My device is in the supported list, I checked. I just cant download any apps because I have to access play store on this device first. That's the message I'm getting.

I'm a huge noob, and I don't know what those terms mean or even how to use those.

Then try following whet leeshor said. Try this link in a browser. Either on you phone or, even better, on a computer: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...jk5RqZZpb0zF-YuSg&sig2=XucSOyGcQZawucpq0WxVYA

I'm wondering if you should go back and read these posts again. The answers are there. Go to the Google Store, using your PC if necessarym, find and app you want and click install.

My phone doesn't show up on the list of apps to download the phone on. It tells me I need to access it from the Google Play app or something. The dropbox does not offer my new phone, just my old one.
