No "Chipotle" ordering app

Update: I got an email from Chiptole and this is what was said in the email:

"As far as an app for Droid phones goes, I don’t have any new updates on the availability. I know we’re extremely busy working on the redesign of our website and we’ll probably devote more energy to a Droid app once we’re finished with that project."

I found this thread a week ago and emailed Chipotle asking for them to make the app. I was actually surprised that I quickly got a response from a real human! We traded several emails, and the outcome was that they are concentrating on a "cross-platform" approach (I took this to mean site redesign).

I haven't read through the entire thread, but I thought I'd post the following for people's benefit:

Previously my issue was that I could not get to the order page directly from chipotle.com/html on my droid (the link to order appears only on the Flash version of the site).

What I did this time was to go directly to: https://order.chipotle.com

From there I was able to login and place my order.

I wanted to relay this information in case anyone else found it useful.


I did email this information to the people I had been corresponding with at Chipotle. Hopefully they are able to add a link to the order page on the HTML version of the site to serve as a stop-gap until they develop their cross platform solution.

I live right around the corner from a chipotle and i eat at this place like 3 or 4 times a week, effin love it. Honestly id never use the app because I like having them make it front of me (allows me to get them to give me extra food lol) but i definitely did email them

I live about 3 blocks from a Chipotle and i used to eat there all the time. I would love to have the app so i could put my order in for when im bringing the food home to my family, otherwise i will just order there and have them make it in front of me.

I will work on emailing them.
