No 3G service

if i connect my phone and go into that menu to use rsd the phone will go into it but when i go into rsd lite itll show my phone then i pick the file and it doesnt give me the option to start the flash process

Let's not go the rsd route just yet. Download the file in #4 of my sig, its an update.zip of 2.1 with root. Rename it and install through sprecovery. Do a double wipe of data and cache before install though. Then let me know how it goes.

i cant i dont have sprecovery anymore its the stock menu thing where you hit the camera and the up button

Ok didn't realize you lost sprecovery. What's your firmware? 2.0.1 or 2.1?

i guess its 2.0.1 im not sure all i can get into is that recovery screen the phone will boot up go to the M go black go back to the M and then go into the recovery screen without me hitting anything

Was your battery low by any chance when this first started?
If not it probably is now, have you tried letting it charge on the wall for a few hours?

haha guess what i unplugged it and i got it to come back on and now im going through that activation stuff and im trying to sign into my gmail account and it keeps telling me that it cant establish a reliable data connection to the server but the little 3G thing up arrow lights up but the down arrow wont light up any ideas

its 2.0.1 but i still dont have the little freaking 3G symbol at the top its just the bars i just called *228 again.

it claims to be connected but it will not load a webpage even if im standing infront of my router i dont think im running a stock 2.0.1 kernal is there like an offical place to download a 2.0.1 update file?
