News for people who are holding upgrades..

Background: I worked at Bell Atlantic Mobile for number of years as a corporate director. I left many years(15) ago to start surgical manufacturing company.

Now: I still have many friends still at Verizon wireless. For the superbowl we all got together and I asked about the Razor, D4 and Maxx. They said its probably good time to upgrade because nothing "Big" is coming out the rest of the year. So if you see a good deal now take it..

Sidenote: Motorola and Verizon in October had a big meeting because of the leaks about the d4. Funny thing it leaked because Motorola sent a test phone to a kiosk in Chicago that was owned be Verizon but they closed it and Tmobile dealer took it over. Well they opened the box "illegally" and took pictures of it and all the spec's. This seems like a no big deal thing but corporate world. This is a big problem and caused a hugh RIF between VW and Moto. Thought i share this bit of info..

Nice!! It's always neat to hear how leaks happen. Often they are covert, but this one was a complete fubar.
