D dtt255 New Member Dec 10, 2010 #1 Ok I am rooted with stock rom. If I update I know that the root will be gone. Is there a new method to root after the newest update or is it the same method as before? Like others, I use several programs that need to be rooted to work. Thanks DTT

G gbright666 Member Dec 10, 2010 #2 I updated today. First make sure all stock apps are in place named.apk and thawd out. Second unroot with z4root Install the update (which will automacly reboot ur phone to the M and sit there for about 5 minuets so don't panic and don't do a battery pull) Than reroot with z4root (latest version) and u should be good to go.
