Need Help with rooting

ok so i decided to sbf back to stock so i could do the ota update of 3.4 or whatever the new one is, i wanted to root again but it keeps stopping on the one click method any ideas, is this method still good with the update? please help

Do a battery pull if you are using z4root...if not using z4root...go get z4root....

Another thing after I updated it say 2.3.320 not 2.3.340 I didn't get madden or anything else. But it keeps saying its up to date wtf? Any ideas?
