and got some questions just wondering i have a new X and i was wondering if i could connect the hdmi cable to upload music to the X for ringtones help

you can us the USB cable and it works just fine. I have herd that the HDMI is out only.

ok cool im not all up to date with the phone and all do i have to get a usb cable to connect to the computer from the phone

Yes just plug it in to the computer and mount it. You can then transfer just about anything to and from the SD card.
