I just picked up my Motorola Droid. I was a Motrola Q user for the past several years. I love the new phone, but would like to know how to set e-mail, calendar reminders and Text msgs to vibrate rather than slient or the "Driod" notice. Right now I have the volume for the notifications turned all of the way down.

The "pamplet" that came with it does not list that feature.

Thanks

Justin

each of those apps has its own settings. you need to bring up the messenger, email, and calendar apps, hit menu, then settings and then you can customize the type of ringtone, vibrate, etc.

always check to see if the menu key brings up a settings window in every app you use.

Doesn't that take a really long time? Can't you just use the volume rocker on the side to go down to vibrate? Or use the beautiful widgets?

Sure you can, but that takes everything to vibrate, the OP only had certain things they wanted set.

OH okay, thanks. I'm getting it today and trying to cram as much knowledge as I can.
