New Voicemail notification... In error!

[Bogus Exception]

For days I have had this notice, with the icon like: o_o ...but no new voicemails exist!

Do I now need to clear the counter manually? How?

So annoying...

My wife had this on her incredible and I found an option in the voicemail settings that let's you clear notifications.

Her phone uses HTC sense so that may not be an option on your x but other than that the situation was identical. Good luck

I have this problem on my Droid X. Rebooting is does not solve the problem. I don't want to do a factory reset!!!!

Call Verizon Support (611?), and they will reset it.

In my case it was a rogue, new VM in Verizon's system when I told the X to not use Verizon, but rather GV for my VMs. They reset it on their end, right on the spot. I think I had to reboot it...

Anyway.. there you go!
