New to the Droid

Hello. Im new to having a Droid, and just looking for some hints or whatever about the phone, and what apps I should have on it. I had a BB and could not stand it. so far the phone is cool.

It's the best phone ever. There are endless possibilities with what you can do with the phone! Just keep checking out the forums and you will find whatever you need to find. There are tons of threads talking about stuff on the phone. It's more of a personal preference on what you like to do with your Droid.

To kinda answer your question, one of my favorite apps is Launcherpro. The paid version enables you to resize widgets, customize your dock and icons (e.g. I have a Droid X eye icon for my app drawer ), add more homescreens, hide apps in the app drawer (like the bloatware that may have come on it) and some nice widgets the dev has coded.

But I'd wait until you're used to the phone a bit before that ^^;;
