I've had my Droid Eris since February and I'm lovin' it. I upgraded from a Palm 700wx (didn't use the internet features) and the size of the phone is a big difference.
I didn't think that I would use the dang internet on the phone so much, but I do!
I'm on the Verizon network and have upgraded to 2.1. So far, somewhat good. I'm having some issues that I'll look to see if anyone else is having and see if I can't find some answers to some weird issues that I'm having since an update last week.
I'm using Swype as my text entry program and find it to be MUCH easier than the tap out a letter way. I'm not extremely fast using it, but I'm getting the hang of using it.
Looking forward to talking about my Droid with other Droid users!
