Just took the leap from a Blackberry to the Droid Incredible, I need to start off with a question about the Androids. And no it won't be about the battery , already being a smart phone user I know you don't leave home without a charger. I downloaded the app killer having been told that unlike the blackberry's you can't close the apps . My first simple question is when I open the app killer to close open apps I notice that there are apps open that I didn't use, how the heck did that happen ??

First Welcome to the Forum

A battery question would have been better that a Task Killer one :)

The Android O/S has a very efficient task management process built right into the system, any third party application that claims to do the same is just working against the native system software and can have negative effects on battery life and system performance

My advice, Uninstall the Task Killer and let Android do it's Job
