new to droid forum,looking for droid x help and knowledge.

hi new to the forums ..have a droid x and i know nothing about rooting,rom,etc, but i hope to learn so i can repair and customize my phone to my liking......
have a rooted phone now.....already have problems and dont know what to do..wi fi dont work...cant download or update apps,and google talk dont work.....but i hope to learn ................dancedroid
