New to Custom ROMs

Hey, I'm new to custom ROMs and looking through, I decided to use Ultimate Droid Extreme. I downloaded the Zip from the sourceforge, but then when I started ROM manager, it automatically started downloading the latest version of Ultimate Droid extreme 8.1?
Not sure because ROM manager didn't show me Ultimate Droid Extreme 8.0, but only these 5:

Ultimate Droid Froyo Beta
Ultimate Droid New Era 1.0
Ultimate Droid v10 (Nextheme)
Ultimate Droid v10 (Blackdroid Themed CyanogenMod)
Ultimate Droid v9.8.0

I was able to flash Ultimate Droid Extreme 8.0 to my phone though

Those are just older version of UD, UD isn't updated on Rom Manager anymore.

Well that kinda sucks, I guess I'll have to keep coming back here for updates

There is a long story behind it not being on ROM mangler, and it would make a great soap opera. Sometime I'll have to write a script, and retire early.
