New to all this - Droid 2 Global

I have a brand new Droid 2 Global that is not activated.

It is on Android 2.2 and I already rooted it.
I have also just install the latest Cyanogen.

Now when I hook the phone up to my PC, the SD card doesn't show up and the phone doesn't charge.

Also, can you recommend me anything else to do?
I was going to try that Liquid Smooth Rom.

CM7 has this double plug issue, Its mention just about everywhere you can download the rom.
But just plug it in, then remove.... then plug in again (double plug)

Liquid won't let usb mode work. I can tell you that since I'm running liquid right now. Not my favorite rom, but its the most stable gb rom. If you want a stable cm7, use the froyo version.
