I have a Droid X2 and it has the same freezing problem. After several calls to Verizon, they sent me a replacement. So far it is running fine. It does have Android system 2.3.5 on it. My old phone only had 2.3.4. Lets hope this will fix the problem.

The phone is 100% stock. And the keyboard is better, but not perfect. Sometimes it has to catch up on what you type. But it has not locked up.
Only problem I'm having is it keeps dropping my Wi-Fi signal. There are 3 smart phones and 2 laptops also using the WI-FI and they are having no problems. I'm going to do some more checking to see if I can fix this.

I would sbf back and and fringe it to 2.3.4 root it and put a custom Tom on it I have seen that fix alot but I do not suggest a custom keyboard they all use more resources that they should as far as I am concerned

I've had this update. Couldnt root. Could SBF back to 2.3.4 though. I re-rooted and went back to my fav. ROM CM7 RC1. Props to dzk. 2.3.5 was almost 100% similar to 2.3.4. Waste of my time and waste of an update from the last which was what? Oct. Last year? No thanks...I'll stay on the dark side! :p
