New member question

So I am about to leave AT&T (finally) and looking at a Droid. Question, is the Droid Inc HD going to be basically the best Android phone on Verizon thats non-LTE? I am not interested in LTE at the moment, I figure maybe at my annual upgrade when it has a bigger footprint. What I am looking for is the fastest/nicest Droid before all the highest end phones are LTE and requiring an extra monthly cost.

I know that the Droid X is the front runner at the moment, I like it a whole lot too and had I not poked around here I probably would have gone with it. But with Miami stating that the Droid Inc HD is so close to release, I can reasonably assume it will be tweaked to be a little faster/more refined? Considering it is second gen processor and it supposedly having 700+ mb of ram.

Good point! It appears that your decision will be based on how soon you want to move to VZW and purchase a Droid.
