We hope you're enjoying Echo and the new features and improvements that we shared last week. Based on the videos and tweets that were posted, many of you are having fun with Simon Says—that's great to see. We're continuing to work hard to add more features to Echo, and we would like to update you today on some new music content available and two things to try.
New Prime Playlists: Echo is getting ready for music's biggest night with new Prime Playlists featuring genre-spanning hits from past GRAMMY-winning artists—all hand-curated by Amazon's music experts. Play them by saying "Alexa, play the Prime Playlist [Playlist Name]." Here are some Playlists to try:
Prime Playlists featuring this year's GRAMMY-nominated artists, including Meghan Trainor, Miranda Lambert, John Legend, Jack White, and U2, are also available. Don't have Prime? Learn more
Location-Specific Forecasts: In case you're curious about the weather on the red carpet this weekend, or just taking a weekend road trip, don't forget that you can ask Echo for the weather forecast for specific cities. For example, try "Alexa, what's the weather in Los Angeles this weekend?".
Customized Flash Briefings: You can customize your briefing to include updates on your favorite topics (politics, sports, entertainment, and more), the latest news from NPR or the BBC, and the weather. To customize, go to "Flash Briefing" in the "Settings" menu of the Echo app.
As always, keep sharing your thoughts on what else we can do to make Echo even better via the Echo app—your feedback is greatly valued.
