New DX, trying to delete preloaded programs

Howdy,

I just got a new DX and it's preloaded with a bunch of bull**** (Blockbuster, Madden?). Those programs seem to be locked when I try to uninstall them via the normal route. How can I get this crap off the phone?

The only way to do it is rooting your phone. Gotta love Verizon and their bloatware

Definately read up on the risks before you do it. And only do it when you feel you are comfortable and understand the process

not the best of ideas to actually delete them bc there seems to be some consensus that they'll have to be on the phone in order to get official ota updates.
if you root the phone, you can freeze the bloat with apps like titanium backup. it removes the apps from the drawer so you don't see them, and you can unfreeze them when needed.

i never noticed but does a .340 sbf put them back on? i deleted mine long ago and was just wondering. i never noticed in one of my many sbf's
