Just got a Replacement DroidX

I have my new replacement running System Ver 2.3.340 and Android Ver 2.21. I have it rooted and also loaded Root Explorer v2.16 and it says I have root privs. Now I was trying to delete some of the bull crap loaded like kindle, Madden NFL 11, and etc but it says they are read only. I had all that deleted off my old DX, has something changed or am I not going to the right place to delete? Any help? thanks..............

You have to mount the system folder to make it RW..I use Estrongs File Manager
