Here is my story: I got the Droid X2 about a week ago, and have loved it, great phone, did not really want an iphone. I ended up dropping it from about six inches off the ground the next day or so ( I know, I know...bad phone girl.) Anyway, I bought an otterbox for it to protect it, and when I put it on, the phone starts wigging out. The wigdet/wallpaper menu keeps popping up like I am pushing on the far left button (don't know what its called..menu maybe?). That menu shows up, then the phone selects "shortcuts", and then goes to my contacts. It thinks I am pushing buttons so it locks up and freezes and I have to take the battery out to restart it because it won't accept me pushing on anything. Anybody got any ideas? Is it a lemon or did my mishap cause the problem? When I take the otterbox off it continues to do the "random pop up, it thinks I am selecting something on the screen thing", and thats when I have to take the battery out, but if I leave the cover off it seems to do okay for awhile, I experimented by pressing the sides together (with the otterbox off) and it started doing the same thing....loose wires?
Someone smarter than me can maybe make sense of this?...Is a trip to Verizon in order?
