Need to remove Gmail address, add another

I am one of those who currently have no access to my Gmail. While waiting to see if they work it out, I need to get another chat ap and email on my phone but it's linked to the email address that is currently "disabled". Can anyone tell me how to remove my old email and add another so I can access the market. Trying to access the Market now just prompts me for a password for an email that does not work.

Factory Reset is the only way to change the default gmail account.

you have to add a motorola account before you add the gmail account. before you have added the gmail account, there should be something about a motorola account on one of the left homescreens.
