I am working with support on a car receiver / bluetooth issue (parrot Asteroid).
One question was am i rooted and wanted to know the baseband version of the phone.
my version is cdma_n_03.1c.57r Itedc_u_05.15.01.

If i give him this info I am wondering if he will know i am rooted?
Not sure what to tell him.
looking for a quick answer

Cheers!!

Although a recent post in this forum last week by someone suggests that Verizon doesn't care if our phones are rooted just as long as you don't kill/brick it. However, I believe they CAN find out that you have rooted it once giving them your phones info, so I am with you on this one...I would STILL be very hesitant to give that info out to them no matter what, IMO.

Good Luck.

It is Parrot support not Verizon or Motorola.

I think i should give them what they want and hope they are cool and still try and help.
