Need to install cm7 on fascinate. Help?

I know there is a thread on this subject already, but I'm not a fascinate owner myself. I recently rooted my brothers fascinate and I want to hook him up with cm7, but I've read that rom manager isn't compatible with the fascinate as of now. I have the cm7 .zip already on his sdcard but I need some assistance installing it.

I've read about using the odin, but I don't know what that is, and every link I've found for the Odin and specific versions of cwm don't work. Is anyone willing to help me through this? Many thanks ahead of time!

Im tryi.g to load cm7 alsobut when i use the rom manager and it goes to the recovery screen it keeps giving me an error and wont load the rom..oplease help im stumped
