need some help new ota update remove root

i was rooted did nothing but install wifi tether and screenshot. did the update this morning to 6.12.173 now I'm not rooted . i just want to remove any trace of root on my phone . any ideas on how to do so . i do not have any backups at all . rite now I'm not rooted but seeing icons for superuser and bionic bootstrap .

any help would be appreciated

Simply remove the apps by uninstalling.

Im able to remove the super user icon that way ? when i try to it just says remove updates not uninstall. I thought superuser is always on the phone but when rooted u actually see the icon. i was able to remove bionic bootstrap that way tho .
 
tried to get into adb using mac but getting this error

shell@cdma_spyder:/$ mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
mount: Operation not permitted


also tried ginger unroot still seeing that super user icon . ideas
